19 Dec The 12 Days of Christmas Workout
I love Christmas and I love a Christmas Workout theme too! 😉
What else do I like..? The build up to the day, the excitement, the food…
Mostly the food.
Which means when it comes to exercise, I need to keep it up over this festive period.
I won’t be going crazy, just not letting things slip as my consumption of those things I probably should’t be eating much of, I do.
Because this is the one time of year I really allow myself to indulge.
So, I thought I’d create a festive Christmas Workout for me and you to complete.
Based on the 12 days of Christmas, this one takes around 30-40 minutes to complete.
You have to complete it as:
Day 1,
Day 2 and then 1,
Day 3, then 2 and then 1,
Day 4, then 3, then 2 and 1. And So on until you do each exercise from 12 down to 1.
Exercise one is completed for 1 rep. Exercise two is for 2 reps and so on. So this particular workout starts feeling “fairly” easy and builds as you progress.
Kinda like a running race…
This Christmas Workout is actually a very similar version to what I’ll be doing in the RunSquad sessions this week.
Check it out below and give it a share if you any runners who could benefit from this challenging, yet festive workout.
